On Thursday 4 October Alan Thomson, Production Director at Dalgety Bay, collected the winning trophy in the partnership section of the Scottish Modern Apprenticeships Awards 2007. The award was made for the outstanding contribution to the modern apprenticeship scheme in Scotland made by the partnership between Havelock and Lauder College. Two days after the awards ceremony in Edinburgh Richard Lowery, Managing Director of the Interiors Division, presented individual plaques to Havelock’s apprentices in recognition of their achievement.
